Pro Evaluation for Return to Play Status

The Pro evaluation is a day-long evaluation consisting of three phases:

Phase 1: evaluate the athlete from a global movement perspective.
Phase 2: rank them within the Primal Rotational Patterns training continuum.
Phase 3: provide the Primal Report and indicate Return to Play status.

Pro Evaluation Phase 1: Placement

Phase 1 of the Pro evaluation requires taking the athlete’s weight to create test loads for evaluation.

The athlete is coached in the technique to bring a barbell to the overhead (snatch) position. A 20-second preparatory period is initiated, and the athlete begins descending in the Overhead Squat for up to 10 minutes. Subsequent evaluation is based on the performance of this initial task.

Pro Evaluation Phase 2: Ranking

As a result of the Phase 1 process, the athlete is ranked within the 52-workout continuum of the Primal Rotational Patterns training system. The athlete performs their first workout. After a 3-hour recovery, they perform a second workout. This cycle is repeated for three workouts across the day.

Pro Evaluation Phase 3: Primal Reporting

The athlete / sports organization receives the Primal Report. The athlete is ranked at the Regional, National, or International level from a movement-based perspective. The entirety of the data collection is summarized in email complete with a list of suggested services.
