Primal Rotational Patterns provides a system of personal training for movement re-education. We rebuild the kinetic chain by training the fascial system, fostering gut health, and improving neurotransmitter expression in the brain.

Kinetic Chain

The kinetic chain is the term applied to the body systems that create movement:

  • musculoskeletal: bones, ligaments, tendons, & muscles;
  • neurological: central & peripheral nervous system;
  • fascial;
  • intestinal: enteric nervous system

Fascia, Range of Motion, & Strength

Fascia is a three-dimensional web of tissue that joins the entire body into a cohesive unit. The fascial matrix creates a series of length-tension relationships amongst all structures of the body, where length is synonymous with range of motion, and tension is synonymous with the ability to produce force at any range.

The enteric nervous system interprets the length-tension relationships of the fascia to protect the kinetic chain. When the enteric nervous system senses movement dysfunction, it alters the biochemistry in the small intestine, resulting in a change in neurological function. Neurological changes result in perceptional changes in reality.
