∆ (Delta) Standard Interpretation

Primal Report

∆ (Delta) Standard is a translation of how quickly a trainee learns via the rate of  progression through the Primal Rotational Patterns. It is comprised of 3 elements:

  • Workout ID (WID),
  • WID Mastery,
  • WID Trial

The WID in this report shows that workout number 21 has been performed on three separate occasions.

WID Mastery counts how many sequential masteries of a workout have aggregated at any given data line. Primal Rotational Patterns requires that trainees master each WID three times in succession before they are promoted to the next workout. This report shows a 1-2-3 trial mastery of WID 21. The 3rd row’s WID is formatted with an indigo field with gold font to indicate that the mastery of this particular WID is complete.

WID Trial refers to the number of total trials of a particular workout the trainee has aggregated at any particular data line. This report shows an ideal scenario – three trials and three masteries, but the WID Trial can be any number of trials, whatever it takes to aggregate three successive masteries of the WID in question.

∆ Standard is a particularly powerful metric as it reveals volitional behavior. When the trainee reaches the point of First Detachment, ∆ Standard will go way over 3. The client who works through that sticking point and gets to the next WID has staying power.

Attendance is reported by number of sessions in a 7-day period. There is no attendance report for this particular individual as the reporting period is too short, but Attendance is an elementary volitional metric: you ‘gotta show up to succeed.

Next Target aggregates the current trajectory of all data and answers the question “when will the trainee reach the next improvement in status based on their current trajectory and habits?” The metric is estimated in weeks.
